The Flinn Scientific Laboratory Safety Video Course is a teacher training, professional development program that identifies and discusses the most common safety issues middle school and high school science teachers face in teaching hands-on science courses. Common-sense solutions to each safety problem are discussed. The goal of this program is to create a safe teaching and learning environment for teachers and their students. The Flinn Scientific Laboratory Safety Course Videos encourages hands-on science while seeking to help prevent or minimize injuries in the laboratory.

The material contained in the Flinn Scientific Laboratory Safety Video Course is intended to provide basic guidelines in laboratory science safety. It cannot be assumed that all necessary warnings and precautionary measures will be discussed in this program.
